25 Oct 09 3 Businesses that Will Never Fail Part – 5

There is always a source of light at the end of a dark and narrow tunnel. It holds true for the economic slowdown as well. No matter how worse it gets, things will get back to normal. This is how things work. This series is my attempt to help people who got hit by the recession get their life back on track. In this part of the series, I will see three more recession-proof businesses.

Go Green Home Business

Our generation is more aware of the demand we pose on our environment, and we are more consciously involved in undoing the changes then any of the previous generation ever did. Hence, going green is a buzz word now. Every company wants to become socially responsible by adopting green technology, and environment-friendly method of conducting business. Can you help them do that? Can you help big corporation manage their waste? Can you provide organic vegetable to household? Or can you show them how to cultivate organic food? You can become a consultant on this, if you know enough about global warming, and how its development can be curtailed.

Adult daycare

Recession or no recession, people will not stop growing old, nor will they stop caring for their elderly parents. For this reason, adult day care services will never go out of business. The elderly who support their post-retirement life with the pensions and savings may limit their expenses because of the economic slowdown, but they cannot stop spending altogether. If you think you are compassionate enough then start an adult daycare.

Cosmetic shop

Women will continue to wear lipstick and powdering their faces until it comes to bread and butter. Putting on make-up is one thing that a woman cannot do without. You can think of starting a business of cosmetic and related items. This will not go bust, and if, somehow, you can provide discount then you are going to make a killing selling cosmetics.
