30 May 09 Change Lifestyle Lose Weight

So many weight loss programs, so many fitness centers, so many types of exercises, and so many diet plans then why most of the people joining one or more of these programs are still overweight? Why they are not losing weight? There must be something missing that is keeping us trapped in our bulky bodies. This post will bring those small things in light that are preventing us from getting back to our normal selves.

No-change in lifestyle

You are doing all the push-ups, running, aerobics, etc. for months, but you are still not losing even a single pound. The reason can be your life style: all those McDonald’s food, Cokes, and other fatty materials.

No Water intake before meals

Drink at least one glass of water 30 minutes before you take your meal. This will replenishes the fluid on the mucus membrane of our stomach, and a well-hydrated body also reduces the need of unhealthy carbonated drinks, thus reducing the level of toxin in our body.

Heavy intake of soda, cola, tea, coffee, and beer

Sugar, sugar substitute and Caffeine are the substances that will slow the weight loss process. Make a plan to reduce the intake of these beverages.

No Muscle growth Plan

In the absence of muscle growth, your body tends to return to its previous overweight self. Hence, you need to have a proper muscle growth plan, and to do so you do not need to take in pills, just let your body work.

Incompatible to your lifestyle

The sole purpose of your existence is not to lose weight. You are meant to do something else, and if the weight-loss program is not compatible with your workload and your family life then it is easy to predict that soon you will leave the strenuous task, as you see it due to excessive pressure on your time.

Putting artificial restriction on eating habit

This is one of the most dangerous practices. It is often noted that we are drawn towards the thing we are forbidden to do. Hence, the right attitude should not to stop eating one food altogether, but to slowly reduce the urge for it and phase it out from our eating habit.
