The reasons why you should strive to maintain a healthy heart are obvious. Beyond feeling great, you’ll live longer, and the added blood flow will keep your skin looking great. Your heart pumps roundabout 2000 gallons of blood every day, why not make that job as easy as possible? An overworked heart is no good, and these benefits will show you why keeping yours fit is a good idea.
-Better Cardiovascular Health. Your cardiovascular system is tasked with circulating oxygenated blood throughout your body. This way your muscles receive the appropriate oxygen that they need to survive. The more effective your system works, the better the oxygen distribution in your body is going to work. So being cardiovascularly fit improves all aspects of life. You’ll have more endurance, and more energy for all of your daily tasks. So make sure to get your cardio exercise.
-Lower Blood Pressure. High blood pressure is bad, not only because it’s a sign that your veins and arteries may be the victim of plaque build up. But also because high blood pressure can damage your heart, and your vital organs, arteries, veins, etc. When your heart has to work harder it puts a strain on your whole system. Your heart overworks which is bad for the muscle, your veins are put under extreme pressure, and most importantly your kidneys are put under unnecessary pressure. All of which is bad. A low blood pressure keeps things flowing smoothly and effectively, without damaging arteries and organs.
-Relief From Stress. Something you may not even think about from having a healthy heart. Working out is stressful if you’re out of shape. But exercise when your body is fit releases endorphins, creating a calming and more relaxing atmosphere. Stressing your body is good, because it helps your muscles get stronger and relax, and works out your tension. The healthier your heart the more effective your workout, and you’d be surprised at how much stress you can run out of your body.

I have covered quite many time management tips in Daily Time Management Tips series. Some of them are easy to apply while others are not so easy to follow. Do not lose you sleep over it, just follow the ones that you comfortably can and leave the rest for the time being. There will be time for them as well. I will leave this discussion here and will move forward to share today’s time management tips.
I prefer to call it this because when the decisive moment will come everything has to stop. Confused? Well, there is no need to be because I am talking here about a time-based game. We learn endurance, patience, strategy, virtue of perseverance among many other things from various games that we play. Now, we will also learn time management.
Play a time management game. Divide your team in groups and get a big stopwatch. Assign each group its task and then allocate time for the task. Place the stopwatch at a place where everyone can easily see. Now it is time to press the button and set the stopwatch ticking.
Reward the group that finishes the work early, and ask the group to share what strategy they used to finish the work so quickly. This way everyone in your team will know how to manage time. Repeat this task often and see the difference.
If things are not working the way you wanted it to work for you, not even after applying the tips I have shared here then considering taking a small course on time management. It will be worthwhile, but do not rush for a course until and unless you have tried all these tips for at least a month without any result. If you get even a glimpse of the result at the end of the month then you are on the right track. You do not need any time management course.
A meeting is a time sucker. It is a corporate way to waste time. Do not indulge in it. If the work can be done without doing any meeting than do it, your goal is not to touch “attended 100000 meetings” mark, but your goal is to do the work assigned to you and your team. If meeting is unavoidable then set an agenda beforehand and stick to it. Do not discuss sports in the meeting.
