After working for many hours at a stretch, adding countless money to company’s bank account, this is a typical question asked by a typical exasperated and torn employee who has not got properly rewarded for the work he has done. Politics, unfair promotions, partisans, and tormentor boss is quite common in the corporate world, so increasing number of employees are considering other means to bring food on the dining table. The search for an alternative mean has been intensified by the current economic slowdown, which has made many people jobless.
Against this backdrop the question arises, should the person just left out by a ailing company be looking for a regular day job with another company, or should he look for a work from home opportunity? The answer to this question depends upon the goal, objective for life and perspective for the world of the inquirer.
If being full-time employed with a corporate is what gives the inquirer a sense of being then work from home opportunities are not meant for him or her. If you are taking up a work from home job to gain access to unlimited freedom without any liability, and to make quick money without any real pain then an authentic work from home opportunity is not for you. Go and search for some fake and unauthentic works like, online read-the-mail-and-make-million, click-ads-and-make millions. As any genuine work would, a work from home opportunity makes you sweat before paying you your reward.
On the plus side, work from home business gives you the freedom to wake up late and compensate those hours by working late. You will be your own boss of your own business, so if the pain will be yours then gain will also be yours only. If you have a talent, and if you can manage your time well, a work from home business provides you a good opportunity to bring bread to your table, and at the same time it gives you an opportunity to explore your creative side as well. By taking up a work from home job, you can break free from the shackles of a typical 9 to 5 job. You will become a free bird, and you can float freely on the city sky.
Before jumping on conclusively, let’s understand that by no mean a work from home business (I will prefer not to call it a job) is an easy work to do. One has to be industrious, self-disciplined and a self-critic to succeed in any work from home business as this is not a job, this is a business, your business that requires more time then you have devoted so far in any day job. As a reward for the hard work, a work from home business will save you from the unfair promotions, cheap politics and partiality of a day job.

I agree that a home based business or telecommuting job (work from home job) is not for everyone. Some do not have the discipline required to consistently work without someone looking over their shoulder.
Others are looking for an “escape” from the corporate world, but don’t necessarily have the drive to stick with a home based business or work from job.
Others will love it and benefit greatly from it! Working from home allows you flexibility and freedom. Also, if you are running your own business from home, it will usually give you a sense of purpose and fulfillment you may not have had before.
But prepared to work!
