13 Sep 09 You Branding: Questions to Ask

This is it. You do not need to worry about paying experts to help you find a job for you, or to help you know what your agenda is. Neither you need to remain confused for the lifetime about personal branding, nor need you worry about the things you should ask to know yourself. Below I am providing a list of questions that you should ask yourself, if you want to sell yourself like a successful brand. The questions has been designed by taking a leaf out of marketing book, which asks you to consider yourself as a product and then run a value-proposition analysis to market yourself as a successful brand.

  • Who are you?
  • Where have you come from?
  • What do you stand for?
  • What you can do for me (replace it with your prospective employer)?
  • What is your unique value proposition?
  • What is the area of your expertise?
  • What you stand for?
  • How do you want to go ahead telling people about you?
  • Do you have a marketing plan?
  • What unique benefit do you offer?
  • How relevant are your expertise for the world around?
  • How can you make difference in my life?
